Windows firewall blocked steam bootstrapper


















Your security software should have a feature that allows you to add programs as exceptions. Select the Steam. It has to be asked so don't be insulted, but are you playing on a system being managed by someone else such as a parent or guardian who could've installed some type of parental control software. Assuming you aren't just pressing OK or Ignore too quickly, ensure it isn't a Windows Defender or Secrutiy Essentials message warning you about a specific malware.
